Description
Six activities are arranged in separate boxes. Each activity contains two sets of colored dots.Below the dot sets is a sequence of colored arrows that serves as the guide.
Children observe the order of the colored arrows, then connect the dots by drawing a line that follows the same color sequence from start to finish.
Learning Focus
- Color discrimination: distinguishing the target colors used in each activity.
- Visual sequencing: following the order of colors shown in the arrow guide.
- Visual matching: matching each colored arrow with the corresponding colored dot.
- Visual tracking: locating the next colored dot while following the given sequence.
- Algorithmic thinking: following a sequence of step-by-step instructions to complete each path.
- Fine motor coordination: drawing continuous lines with controlled pencil movements.
Learning Concept
- Sequential processing: applying the color sequence in the given order from beginning to end.
- Rule-based reasoning: using the colored arrows as the rule for determining the next connection.
- Visual cue matching: matching each colored arrow with the corresponding colored dot.
- Multiple representations: connecting colors shown as arrows with the corresponding colored dots.
